Foreign Insurance Closed Joint Stock Company «Generali» was registered in spring 2008 as the first insurance company in history of the Republic o Belarus with 100% of foreign fund.

FICJSC «Generali» is a part of Generali PPF B.V. Holding, which works in 13 countries of Central and Eastern Europe. By means of its subsidiary companies Generali PPF Holding manages assets, that increase 12 billion EUR, and caters for more than 10 mln clients over the whole territory. Generali PPF Holding is registered in the Netherlands, and the main organizational department is in Prague, Czech Republic. Generali PPF Holding is a joint company: 51 % of interests refers to Assicurazioni Generali and 49 % of interests refers to PPF Group.

Statutory Fund of FICJSC «Generali» is 2 mln EURO. Within 3 years of it's activity in the market of insurance services the company's own fund has increased by more than four times and reached 22 billion BYR. During the time of work in the insurance market FICJSC «Generali» entered TOP-12 of insurance companies of Belarus.
